At the Ringer’s initial consultation we discussed several solutions for a corner in their family room that was just dead space. We tossed around a few ideas like a reading nook or buying
premade shelf/cabinet. Nothing felt right. Then I found an picture on Pinterest and knew it was the solution.
Enter my girl Krystal from The Painted Cage. First she built custom floating shelves. Then she cut out part of the floor trim and installed a premade cabinet. So simple, so awesome. Now that awkward corner is the focal point of the family room! And as an added bonus they now have storage for toys, blankets and any other crap they want to hide! What do you think???!!!
